Pernand-Vergelesses (2008)

This wine is from the 'Clos de Bully’ in Pernand-Vergelesses, just north of Beaune. In the nose we find fresh pear and tea leaves, a very nice and clear mineral touch and some white pepper. On the palate the caramelised nuts, combined with the acidity in the wine. In the aftertaste we find again the pear and the spicy notes. This lively is a very good representative of the appellation. Best with sweet water fish with white sauces. It's the wine for Sushi! Also great combined with young cheese, emmental or not too strong goat cheese. Serve it at 11 to 13°C.
