Our Meursault 2010 is a blend of different village vineyards in Meursault. It's another great JanotsBos Meursault.
When we made these tasting notes, spring 2015, the Meursault was still young, but it shows enormeous expression. The Meursault gives aromas of ripe fruit, like apples, lychees and white peach, 'brioche' and white flower blossom. On the palate the for Meursault typical buttery note is already present! The mineral touch is great in this wine and makes it to fantastic wine for the gastronomy. The aftertaste is long and very pleasant. Keep this wine in your cellar (at least till 2017) to appreciate its full potential.
Combine it with asparagus, salmon, jambon blanc, stroganoff, langoustines and lobster. Or try it with Camemberts or fromage bleu. The classic combination with Brie is great. Serve it at 12 to 14°C. These dishes all combine very well with our Bourgogne Blanc, our 'petit Meursault'.
